Community Drum Circle
One Heart, One Prayer, One Drum, Un Pueblo!
Mission and Philosophy
Our goal is to build community through drumming, fostering unity and healing. We create a space where individuals can express their creativity, gain confidence, and participate in drumming, dancing, or singing without fear of judgment. This environment encourages freedom of expression in various forms, tapping into the playful rhythmic spirit inherent in all of us. The drumming circle serves as a place to connect with our inner dance and share it with others.

Therapeutic Value
As a therapist, I recognize the benefits of relaxation and the cathartic potential of rhythm. The circle provides an opportunity for both improvisation and coherent conversation, welcoming all types of drums, percussion instruments, and even your own voice.

Facilitation Experience and Inspirations
With several years of group facilitation experience, I deeply believe in the healing power of the drumming circle. My inspirations include:
-
Healers from Senegal and Guinea: Their traditional rhythms and healing practices have profoundly influenced my approach.
-
Master Padilla from Spain: His work, “El Arte de la Sanación” (The Art of Healing), has been a significant source of inspiration.
-
Arthur Hull: Known as a rhythm ambassador, Arthur has pioneered modern drum circle facilitation, inspiring communities worldwide through rhythm.
-
Native Peoples from South and North America: Their rich traditions and deep connection to rhythm and community continue to guide our practices.
These influences have inspired me to co-create the magical, sacred space we call “community drum circles.”

Community Circle of Sound
~ Global Harmonization Ceremony ~
All around the world, we gather every Equinox and Solstice in Circles of Sound to amplify our shared intentions of:
- Harmony
- Acceptance
- Unity
- Joy
- Compassion
- Love
- Appreciation
- Among all beings of the Planet

Among all beings of the planet
It is a very important part of our intentions. We refer to beings not only on the surface of the planet, those who are aware of; we also refer to those who possibly live within our Mother Earth, those who are not aware of. We refer to the beings that swim in our waters, fly in our skies, burrow in our grounds, those who crawl and those who walk, those big enough to see and those too smaller for our eyes. Let us be in Harmony with, Accept, feel Unity with, share Joy with, and have Compassion, Love and Appreciation for every form of being on this beautiful Mother Earth. Non-Exceptions!
This is a powerful force, when many people are united and concentrating on the same thing: Peace! I have been part of the Circle of Sound since 2011, facilitating the ceremony wherever I am.
The creator, Daniel Brower, says:
“It is meant to be as simple as possible, so that we are all united in consciousness and doing the same thing. We do not teach anything or say much. We simply concentrate on the intentions of the ceremony.
The ceremony is held outdoors most of the time so that our vibrations touch Mother Earth directly.”
“United Consciousness is the concept behind the work of Circle of Sound. Truly this is a force that we have never brought to full potential as the human race. Now is the time!”

Dances of Universal Peace
I am a Certified Leader of the Dances of Universal Peace (DUP). Part of the timeless tradition of sacred dance, the Dances of Universal Peace use simple music, lyrics, and movements. No special experience is needed. By participating in the dances, we appreciate peace, harmony, and our connections with one another.

Dancing Toward Your Center Workshops
“Experience free dance to express your heart, find your center, and trust your body. The first shamanic task of our journey is to free the body to experience the power of being“
In these workshops, I create a space to experience spontaneous dance, relaxation, connection with yourself, and personal healing. The methodology is eminently experiential and participative, in an environment of trust and support. Through practical exercises of self-reflection, movement, artistic expression, and creative communication, connection with your being will be deepened. I am proposing a process, not art production or dance steps. I hope to permit the participants to “peel the onion,” to explore wants, needs, and perceptions, and use this evaluation of life as a resource for self-understanding and happiness in being in the world. These workshops are the result of many years of training as a group facilitator and in the Art of Healing.
Sources of my inspiration and training include:
-
Music therapy (Rolando Benenzon)
-
Holistic therapy and dance therapy (Frank Cardelle)
-
Expressive arts as healing (Natalie Rogers)
-
Sacred dance and Qigong (Master Padilla and Master Chen)
-
Ecstatic Dance (Gabrielle Roth)
“Where we stopped dancing, singing, being enchanted by stories, or finding comfort in silence is where we have experienced the loss of soul. Dancing, singing, storytelling, and silence are the four universal healing salves.”
― Gabrielle Roth
